Ingredients
Scale
- 8-10 pound ham spiraled
- 1 can (20 ounce) crushed pineapple
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2/3 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon all spice
Instructions
- Spray an 8-quart slow cooker lightly with cooking spray.
- Pat the ham dry using paper towels, and place it in the slow cooker.
- Pour half of the crushed pineapple with juice over the ham. Set aside the remaining pineapple for later.
- In a bowl, combine brown sugar, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice. Pour this mixture over the ham and ensure it goes between the slices.
- Cook on low for 3-4 hours or on high for 1-2 hours.
- Occasionally lift the lid and baste the ham with the juices to keep it moist.
- Garnish with the reserved pineapple and serve.
Notes
You can adjust the level of sweetness by varying the amount of brown sugar.
For added flavor, consider using a bone-in ham.
Make sure to baste the ham regularly for the best results.
