Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pork tenderloins (2¼ to 2 ½ lbs total)
- 2 tablespoons avocado oil or olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon fine salt
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- ¼ teaspoon chipotle powder
Instructions
- Using paper towels, pat the pork tenderloins to absorb any excess moisture.
- In a small bowl, mix together avocado oil, lime juice, brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, salt, onion powder, chili powder, cumin, and chipotle powder until well combined.
- Rub the mixture evenly over the pork tenderloins. Let them sit at room temperature while the grill heats up.
- Preheat the grill to high heat, around 450℉. Once hot, place the pork tenderloins on the grill and cook for 3 minutes on each side.
- Continue grilling until the internal temperature reaches 145℉, which should take about 10 minutes, depending on thickness.
- Remove the pork from the grill and transfer to a clean plate. Cover with foil for 5-10 minutes to allow juices to redistribute.
- Slice the pork into ¾- to 1-inch thick pieces.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container.
Notes
For a slightly sweeter flavor, adjust the brown sugar to taste.
Serve with your choice of sides like grilled vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
Ensure the grill is properly preheated for the best sear.
