Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pork tenderloins ( to 2 ½ lbs total)
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil or olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon fine salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon chipotle powder

Instructions

  1. Using paper towels, pat the pork tenderloins to absorb any excess moisture.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together avocado oil, lime juice, brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, salt, onion powder, chili powder, cumin, and chipotle powder until well combined.
  3. Rub the mixture evenly over the pork tenderloins. Let them sit at room temperature while the grill heats up.
  4. Preheat the grill to high heat, around 450℉. Once hot, place the pork tenderloins on the grill and cook for 3 minutes on each side.
  5. Continue grilling until the internal temperature reaches 145℉, which should take about 10 minutes, depending on thickness.
  6. Remove the pork from the grill and transfer to a clean plate. Cover with foil for 5-10 minutes to allow juices to redistribute.
  7. Slice the pork into ¾- to 1-inch thick pieces.
  8. Store any leftovers in an airtight container.

Notes

For a slightly sweeter flavor, adjust the brown sugar to taste.
Serve with your choice of sides like grilled vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
Ensure the grill is properly preheated for the best sear.
