- 1 (7-ounce) container marshmallow creme
- 1 lime
- 1/8 teaspoon coconut extract optional
Instructions
- Remove cream cheese from packaging and place on a microwave-safe plate. Microwave for 15 seconds, flip it over, and microwave for another 10 to 15 seconds until softened but not melted.
- Transfer the softened cream cheese to a large bowl. Use a hand mixer to beat it until completely smooth and lump-free, about 1 minute.
- Run a spoon under hot water and dry it off, then scoop the marshmallow creme into the bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of fresh lime juice and the optional coconut extract. Beat until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Cover the bowl tightly and refrigerate for about 1 hour, or until fully chilled. Serve with your favorite fruit or dippers, ensuring the fruit is completely dry before serving.
Notes
Ensure the cream cheese is softened adequately for the best texture.
Use fresh lime juice for the brightest flavor.
The optional coconut extract adds a lovely twist but can be omitted.
